Those who require the use of a panic button are often those who struggle with dexterity and may have trouble pushing the alarm. Not only does this prevent them from seeking the aid they need, but can also lead to them becoming distressed.
The Easy Press Jelly Switch for MPPL Pagers has been designed for those who cannot apply a great deal of pressure. Easy to press with the option of visual prompts, the switch allows the user to call for help without any problems.
Features of the Easy Press Jelly Switch for MPPL Pagers
The Easy Press Jelly Switch is designed for those who struggle with a conventional help switch. The button has a large activation area of 65mm and needs only a little pressure to activate it, making it ideal for those with poor dexterity or a physical disability.
The switch is also designed for those with learning disabilities, cognitive problems or dementia. This is due to the way the clear plastic top can be unscrewed and an image or message can be inserted. The visual prompts help to remind the user of what the alarm is used for.
The Jelly Switch has a 1.4 metre connection lead and a 3.5mm jack plug. This connects to the Transmitter and when the alarm is sounded, the MPPL Pager is alerted to the problem from up to 100m away.
Additional Kits
Both the pendants and the transmitters can be purchased separately if additional ones are required. All components are available in the Easy Press Jelly Switch and Alarm Kit.
