How Do the POCSAG Universal Transmitter, Pager and Mat Work?
If activated by pressure, indicating someone on the move, the mat will contact the transmitter. This will then be relayed to your pager receiver, alerting you through tone and vibration signals.
The mat may be placed next to the bed of a patient or in a doorway or staircase to act as a bed leaving alarm. Non-slip and heavy duty, you do not need to place the mat under an existing rug, unlike many other floor pressure mats. Unlimited transmitters can be used with this system, perfect for monitoring multiple patients in a care home.
