While there are a number of different kits to help you monitor loved ones, the hazard caused by the exposed wires can provide a problem. If the patient is prone to tampering with exposed wiring, the sensor will become damaged and be prevented from working.
Rondish have developed wireless sensors to help overcome this problem. These connect to the Wireless Rise Alarm to alert the carer when the patient has moved from either their bed or the chair.
Features of the rondish wireless rise alarm
With a wireless operating range of up to 100m, the cordless alarm links with either the Chair Sensor Mat or the Bed Sensor Mat to monitor when a patient leaves their bed or chair. The alarm is simple to set up and comes with a range of tones and volume settings for your personal preferences.
Powered by 3 x AA batteries, the alarm has a low battery alert for both itself and the transmitter on the sensors it is connected to.
The alarm is designed for carers who look after patients suffering from special needs, learning disabilities, Autism and aggressive dementia due to the lack of wires. This prevents damage being done to the equipment, helping it to have a longer life-span.
