Where Can the Pull Cord Transmitter Be Used?
Due to its triple-function design, the Rondish Wireless Pull Cord Transmitter can be used virtually anywhere. The waterproof design makes it ideal for use in public toilets, and is particularly suited for installation in disabled toilets to ensure that help can be received where it may be needed the most. Examples of environments where the transmitter may be used include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Public toilets e.g. shopping centres, restaurants, train stations, gyms
- Private establishments e.g. universities, schools, offices, workplaces
- Care environments e.g. hospitals, care homes, surgeries, clinics
- Disabled toilets with RADAR key access (in areas monitored by staff)
- Beside a bed to allow vulnerable individuals to call for help in the night or while resting
Is There Anywhere I Can't Use the Transmitter?
As long as the transmitter is installed in an area monitored by staff, whether in a public place or a private building, then it should be fine to use the system. It will not be suitable for use in toilets that are remotely situated and not routinely checked, such as toilets in a park or open space, as there will be nobody to receive the alert to provide assistance.
How Does the Pull Cord Transmitter Work?
The wireless transmitter is designed to be positioned near a toilet, with the cord loose so that an individual in need of assistance can easily pull it. Once the cord is pulled, an alert is sent to a compatible receiver, informing a nearby member of staff that help is required. The resent button can then be pressed after assistance has been provided so that it is ready in case of another incident.
How Do I Know the Pull Cord Is Working?
Pulling the cord will trigger the LED light on the unit, which will light up to confirm that the cord has been pulled correctly. This provides peace of mind to the individual that somebody has been alerted of the transmission.
How Safe Is the Rondish Pull Cord Transmitter?
With a waterproof design, the Rondish transmitter offers safe use in a toilet or washroom environment. It also features a wireless design, reducing the risk of trip hazards and preventing any wires from being vandalised if used in a public place.
