What Does the Signolux Tower Doorbell System and Vibrating Pager Do?
This kit is made up of three parts: a Signolux Bell Push, a Signolux Tower Receiver, and a Vibrating Pad/Pager. The bell push is placed at your front door (as a normal doorbell would be) and when it is pressed it sends a signal to your tower receiver, which uses lights and vibration to alert a hard-of-hearing user that someone is at the door. The system can be expanded with other Signolux products (not included) to alert you to a range of other events too.
How Does This Doorbell for the Hard of Hearing Work?
Easy to program, the bell push included in this set simply pairs up with the Signolux Tower receiver. Once the doorbell push button is pressed, a radio signal is transmitted to the receiver which in turn displays the received signal audibly and visually with sounds and flashing lights. The vibrating pad is-unpowered and can simply be placed under the user's pillow or mattress sheet to be alerted of the doorbell by vibration patterns.
Who Can Use the Signolux Tower Doorbell Alert System?
The Signolux Doorbell Alert System is designed for home use, particularly for deaf or hearing impaired who struggle to listen out for the doorbell. Although these users will benefit the most from the Signolux Tower Doorbell Alert System, it can be used by anyone.

What Other Domestic Events Can the System Notify The Deaf User?

- Telephone (Orange)
- Person Call (Yellow)

- Alarm (Red)
Please Note: In order for the system to be able to notify of the events listed above, a separate Signolux transmitter (e.g. a telephone transmitter or a baby monitor audio transmitter) must be connected to the Signolux Tower receiver for each event. Information on pairing-up should be found in the user manual of the according transmitter. Up to 8 transmitters can be assigned to each event icon, for more information on this please see the manual for this product too.
You can find compatible transmitters by viewing the Signolux range by Humantechnik.
Sixteen Tone Sequences and Melodies
For acoustic alerting the Signolux Tower receiver provides a choice of 16 tone sequences or melodies which can be individually assigned to the respective events. The device can generate sounds of up to a very high 95 dB for those who require extra-loud functionality, however for those who do not, please be sure to use a low volume setting to begin and adjust accordingly, in order to protect your hearing.
Doorbell with Vibrating Pager
Along with the sounds and flashing lights, hearing impaired users have access to a vibrating pager/pad for even more convenient notification of domestic events. The vibrating pad can simply be placed under the user's pillow or mattress sheet and they will be alerted by strong vibration patterns. Adding to its convenience, the pad is un-powered and wireless, meaning no irritating wires are in the way when trying to get a goodnight's sleep.
